Troop 60 is dedicated to the
belief that the Boy Scout should have a fun and enjoyable time in his pursuit of
the top rank in scouting, Eagle. The Scout will be encouraged to advance with
sustained effort through all ranks and will be given guidance to achieve the
task. Camping is an essential part of the Scouting experience and it is a
monthly activity with the Troop. We are a community oriented Troop
participating in community events. The ultimate goal of Troop 60 is to be Scout-run
in every phase of operation.
I would like to give my thanks to the North
Washington Fire District for their continuing support of Boy Scout Troop
60. The use of the training facility has
given us an ideal place to meet. They
have always been available to the scouts for anything that has been asked of them. The fire fighters are also a tremendous
resource for merit badges and rank advancement.
I look forward to future good relations with NWFD.
