We hire from the DRCOG eligibility pool, and will have one position open after August, 2007.

We also have a Reserve Firefighter program.  The District does have openings for Reserve Firefighter positions.  Reserve Firefighters work three twelve-hour shifts per month.  Reserves are required to attend the North Washington Fire Protection District Fire Fighter I Academy.  To be eligible for the position of Reserve Firefighter you must meet the following requirements: 

A minimum score of 75% on the D.R.C.O.G. test.

            Colorado State Emergency Medical Technician Certificate.
